The event was a roaring success, with PREM Management overseeing every aspect, including event management, live production, talent procurement, and show concept. Hosted by broadcaster Jonty Sargeant and former They Think It’s All Over presenter Nick Hancock, the evening featured a star-studded lineup of guests spanning multiple sporting disciplines. Among those taking centre stage were former British middleweight champion Nathan Heaney, a Stoke-born boxing icon; Olympic rower Joe Clarke, who won gold at the 2016 Rio Games in canoe slalom; and long jumper Jasmin Sawyers, a Commonwealth Games medallist and local sporting hero. Cricket was represented by former England fast bowler Matthew Hoggard, an Ashes-winning legend. Meanwhile, football fans were treated to the presence of the iconic "SAS" duo of Stoke City teams of old—former strikers Simon Sturridge and Mike Sheron, who were a formidable force for the club during their playing days. The event was a dynamic mix of sporting stories, humour, and audience interaction, keeping attendees engaged throughout the night. With top-tier production values and seamless execution, PREM Management once again demonstrated its expertise in delivering high-quality live experiences. When UHNM Charity entrusted PREM Management with creating EDS: The Raw and Honest Truth, we recognized the unique opportunity to shed light on a little-understood condition, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and to bring real stories of resilience to the forefront. From concept to completion, our team dedicated themselves to every stage of this project, knowing the impact it could make on awareness and understanding of EDS. We began by diving deeply into storyboarding, mapping out the heartfelt narratives that would define this documentary. Every frame was carefully planned to honor the voices of those with EDS, capturing their struggles and resilience authentically. Once filming commenced, we were privileged to conduct candid interviews with individuals bravely sharing their journeys, as well as with medical experts who shed light on the challenges and misunderstandings surrounding EDS. Our team worked closely with these specialists to ensure the content was both informative and empathetic, bridging the personal with the professional. The post-production process was equally meticulous. Every edit, cut, and sound was crafted to capture the rawness of each story, while also ensuring a hopeful and compelling narrative arc. Our production team, from editors to sound engineers, approached each frame with care, aiming to reflect the perseverance and humanity of those impacted by EDS. As the documentary neared completion, we turned our attention to hosting a powerful premiere and promoting the film. The premiere allowed us to share this important work with the community, creating a space for conversation, compassion, and awareness. Our promotional strategy has focused on amplifying the voices in the film and reaching wider audiences to foster greater understanding of EDS. Through EDS: The Raw and Honest Truth, PREM Management is proud to support UHNM Charity’s mission, advocating for EDS awareness and understanding. This documentary is more than a film—it’s a call to action for empathy and inclusivity, one that we hope will resonate deeply and inspire change.
