PREM Management Launches 'Between the Posts': A Powerful Men's Mental Health Series Featuring Football Icons

November 4, 2025

PREM Management today announced the launch of a major new online content series, 'Between the Posts,' dedicated to tackling the men's mental health crisis through the powerful lens of football.

Premiering throughout November to coincide with Men's Mental Health Month, the series will see presenter Jonty Sargeant sit down for candid conversations with some of the game's most respected names.

The series has been produced with the support of two leading organisations in the field: the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) and the mental health charity Mind. This collaboration underscores the critical importance of the project's mission: to break down stigma and encourage open conversation among men.

In "Between the Posts," Jonty Sargeant will host intimate and frank discussions with former professionals who have navigated significant mental and physical challenges. Confirmed guests include:
Dean Ashton: The former England and West Ham United striker, whose prolific career was cut short by injury.
Fabrice Muamba: The former Bolton Wanderers midfielder, who famously suffered a sudden cardiac arrest on the pitch in 2012.
Geoff Cameron: The former USMNT and Stoke City defender, known for his candid views on player welfare.

These conversations will delve into the unique psychological pressures faced by professional athletes, the challenge of identity after sport, and their personal strategies for maintaining mental wellbeing.

"We are incredibly proud to launch 'Between the Posts,'" said a spokesperson for PREM Management. "Football holds an unparalleled platform to reach men who might otherwise struggle in silence. By bringing these often-unheard stories to the forefront with the expert support of the PFA and Mind, we hope to foster a more understanding and supportive environment for men everywhere. Jonty is the perfect host to guide these essential conversations with empathy and insight."

The series will be broadcast weekly throughout November and be available across PREM's social media channels.
