December 1, 2025

The extraordinary contributions of community champions from across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire were celebrated at the prestigious Your Heroes Awards 2025, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Festival Park.

The glittering ceremony, attended by over 260 guests, saw TV stars, sporting champions, and an Oscar-winning actress join forces to present awards to 27 remarkable individuals and groups, recognising stories of unconditional love, courage, and selflessness.

Notable winners included businessman Nathan Walton, who received the Charity Champion/Volunteer of the Year Award from Olympian Jazmin Sawyers for raising over £1.5 million for charitable causes. Other distinguished honourees included an internationally renowned sculptor, the CEO of Saltbox, and former Lord Lieutenant Sir Ian Dudson.

The awards were presented by a roster of famous faces, including actress and Oscar-winner Rachel Shenton, TV presenter Nick Hancock, former British Middleweight boxing champion Nathan Heaney, and Olympian Jazmin Sawyers.

Categories spanned the breadth of community service, including Hero of the NHS, Child of Courage, Carer of the Year, and Uniformed Hero. The ceremony marked the culmination of a six-month public nomination campaign, highlighting heroes put forward by their own communities.

The event was organised by the University of Staffordshire and sponsored by a consortium of local organisations: Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, Woolcool, Potteries Educational Trust, GivEnergy, PREM Management, and Shepherd PR.

PREM Management was the proud event production partner for the evening, providing full technical support including staging, lighting, screens, and production management to ensure the heroes’ stories were shared with impact.
