36 Hours in the Wild: PREM’s biggest adventure yet
Five episodes. Eight challengers. 36 hours in the wild. One unforgettable PREM project.
After months of planning, filming, editing and plenty of mud, 36 Hours in the Wild has come to a close - and what an adventure it has been.
The ambitious five-part series saw eight Staffordshire business and community figures leave their comfort zones behind to take on a gruelling 36-hour challenge in the great outdoors.
Split into two teams, our challengers faced a series of physical and mental tests designed to push them to their limits, with everything from survival skills and teamwork to a dramatic 30-metre descent putting their courage to the test.
But 36 Hours in the Wild was about much more than the challenges.
It was a project designed and delivered from the ground up by the PREM team, bringing together the different sides of what we do - from creative development and talent to filming, production, editing, digital content and promotion.
The result was a five-part series that gave audiences an insight into the personalities behind the participants, captured plenty of unforgettable moments and delivered a healthy dose of entertainment along the way.
And, importantly, it also had a purpose beyond the screen.
The challenge provided a platform to raise awareness and funds for local charities, with the participants using their experience to support causes that make a real difference across our community.
From concept to screen
For PREM, 36 Hours in the Wild represented an exciting opportunity to create something of our own. The idea was developed to bring together great people, a big challenge and compelling storytelling, creating content that audiences would genuinely want to watch.
From the first conversations and planning sessions through to getting cameras into the wild, our team managed every element of the production.
The result has been one of the most ambitious original content projects PREM has delivered to date. Across the five episodes, audiences have followed the highs, lows, laughs and challenges as our teams battled their way through 36 hours in the wild.
36 Hours in the Wild may be over, but the project represents something we're incredibly proud of at PREM. It's a perfect example of what happens when creative ideas, great people and first-class production come together.
And, after 36 hours in the wild, we're already wondering...
Where do we go next?
