More participants join ‘36 Hours in the Wild’ challenge

April 2, 2026

Following the recent launch of ‘36 Hours in the Wild’, more participants have now signed up to take on the challenge, with the line up continuing to grow.

The event, led by PREM Management, will see teams spend 36 hours navigating outdoor terrain, completing tasks and working together under pressure.

Since the first contestants were announced, additional names have joined the challenge, including Naomi Parton, Head of Foundation at Port Vale Football Club.

Naomi said she is “very nervous, but excited” to take on something completely new, describing the challenge as a step outside her comfort zone.

“I’m not really a camper or an adventurer type person,” she said. “But I wanted to do something different and fundraise in a different way.”

Working in the charity sector, Naomi highlighted the importance of leading by example.

“It’s really important that we have people who give up their time, energy and support. Leading by example is something we do as an organisation, and I wanted to make sure I’m doing that too.”

She added that while the challenge will push her, she is determined to see it through.

“I’ll probably moan about it, but I’ll still crack on,” she said. “I’ll give 110% and bring energy to the team.”

Naomi also spoke about the wider purpose behind taking part, pointing to the role charities play across the local area.

“Giving back is so important. Charities do amazing work across the city, and it’s important we support that and bring some positivity.”

The expanding group of participants reflects a mix of backgrounds and experience, with each bringing different strengths to the challenge.

With interest continuing to build, a limited number of spaces are still available for those looking to get involved.
