One Stoke filming ties into the wider One Stoke-on-Trent initiative

August 29, 2025

Filming has started for One Stoke, a collaborative project shining a light on Stoke City and Port Vale working together across the city.

Filming is underway for One Stoke, a project capturing Stoke City and Port Vale working together across the city. The production highlights how both clubs are collaborating as part of the wider One Stoke-on-Trent initiative, designed to bring communities closer.

Our team spent the first day on site at Port Vale FC, beginning interviews and building the story of how two clubs with deep roots in the city are uniting for a shared cause.

That cooperation has already been visible at a series of community fun days held in parks across Stoke-on-Trent this summer. Supporters, families and local residents were able to meet players and staff in relaxed, open settings. One of the standout moments came at Stansmore Park in Meir, where both Stoke City and Port Vale attended together - a powerful show of togetherness in front of hundreds of local people.

The events gave our cameras the chance to capture more than football: children playing, fans from both sides talking, and two clubs putting rivalry aside to support their city. These scenes will form a key part of the One Stoke story as filming continues.

By documenting these moments, PREM is proud to be bringing to screen a project that shows football’s ability to connect people and strengthen community across Stoke-on-Trent.
