From Surgical Milestones to Apprentice Rising Stars: PREM Management Delivers Across Two Unforgettable Events
Full-service infrastructure and production support brings high-profile celebrations to life for UHNM Charity and WMAAN.

Within the space of a few weeks, the PREM team has moved from the emotional atmosphere of a hospital charity celebration to the creative energy of a National Apprenticeship Week event, proving that whether the setting is clinical or creative, PREM delivers.
Celebrating a Decade of Surgical Innovation with UHNM Charity
First, PREM Management was proud to provide full event infrastructure and production expertise for the UHNM Charity 'Robotics Excellence Showcase' , held on Tuesday, 3 February 2026.
The prestigious event celebrated 10 years of robotic surgery innovation at University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) NHS Trust and the landmark achievement of 5,000 robotic-assisted procedures. With such a significant milestone to mark, UHNM Charity needed a production partner capable of delivering a seamless and impactful experience.
PREM Management provided a complete turnkey solution, including:
Full Infrastructure: Supply and management of professional-grade sound, lighting, and staging to create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
Talent Management: Coordination of speakers and VIPs, ensuring smooth transitions for clinical teams, patients, and executives.
Event Management: End-to-end logistical support and on-the-day coordination.
A particularly powerful moment came when the programme's 5,000th patient took to the stage, lit and presented in front of a live audience thanks to PREM's technical setup, alongside the pioneering surgeons who helped build the programme's success.
Lisa Thomson, Director of UHNM Charity, commented: "The showcase was a tremendous success, vividly highlighting how charitable support has directly translated into surgical innovation and improved patient care."
Helping WMAAN's Rising Stars Create Content for the Digital Age
Hot on the heels of the UHNM showcase, PREM Management provided production support for the West Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (WMAAN) as they celebrated National Apprenticeship Week 2026 with a dynamic 'Celebrate Success' event.
Held at the newly launched Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Institute of Technology (SoTSIoT) in Stafford, the event brought together hundreds of volunteer ambassadors to reflect on a year of remarkable growth, which saw the recruitment of 94 new Apprentice Ambassadors and engagement with 95% of schools across the region.
With the theme of 'rising stars and creative connection', ambassadors were set an 'Apprentice' style TikTok challenge: create short, innovative videos promoting apprenticeships across a range of career areas. PREM Management provided:
Technical Production Support: Ensuring each filming location, from robotics labs to a simulated hospital ward, was equipped for high-quality content capture.
Media Suite Coordination: Supporting teams as they utilised industry-standard facilities to review and begin editing their footage.
On-the-Day Event Management: Ensuring the smooth flow of participants between creative spaces.
Guest speakers: Talent assistance for added value on the day of event.
The Ambassadors were supported throughout by SoTSIoT staff and students, including those studying HNC/D Digital Content Creation. The finished videos will air later this year as part of WMAAN's ongoing campaign to attract more people into apprenticeship pathways.
Co-Chair of the WMAAN, Jenny Johnston, summed up the day's mission: "It's been about embracing the changing communications landscape, and the fantastic facilities and array of future careers we have here in the powerhouse of the West Midlands."
