A Summer of Cricket: PREM x Staffordshire Cricket

What a summer it has been for cricket in Staffordshire.

Over the past few months, PREM Management has been working alongside the brilliant team at Staffordshire Cricket, creating content designed to showcase the breadth of the game across the county and, ultimately, get more people engaged with an amazing sport and an amazing team.

From the excitement of county competition to disability cricket, elite pathways, schools and community activity, there has been a huge amount to celebrate - and our job has been to make sure those stories are seen.

Cricket for everyone

One of the things that makes working with Staffordshire Cricket so exciting is the sheer variety of people and programmes involved.
The county's work stretches far beyond the senior game, with opportunities for players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. That includes its county age-group programmes, disability cricket, schools programmes and talent pathways designed to help the next generation develop and reach their potential.

We've been there to capture it all.
Our content has taken audiences behind the scenes, onto the pitch and into the heart of the Staffordshire cricket community - showcasing the people, personalities, performances and stories that make the game so special.

From competition to pathway

The summer has provided plenty of opportunities to celebrate competitive cricket across Staffordshire, while also shining a light on the players who could become the county's stars of the future.

The Staffordshire Player Pathway plays a vital role in identifying and developing talented young players, with the aim of helping them progress through club and county cricket and potentially towards the professional game.

For PREM, that's meant creating content that captures those moments - the ambition, the excitement, the nerves and the pride that comes with representing Staffordshire.

Making sure every story is told

And while elite performance is an important part of the Staffordshire Cricket story, it is only one part.
We've also been proud to create content around disability cricket, helping showcase the opportunities available across the county - from softball and table cricket in schools to visual impairment cricket and more.
We've captured the role cricket plays in schools too, where Staffordshire Cricket delivers coaching, competitions, teacher development and other opportunities designed to give young people a fantastic first experience of the sport.
These are the stories that demonstrate what cricket can really do.

More than content

For us, this project has never simply been about creating videos or filling social media feeds.
It's about telling stories that make people want to get involved.
Whether that's a youngster watching a pathway video and dreaming of representing their county, a school discovering a new opportunity, a family seeing what disability cricket has to offer, or an existing supporter getting even closer to the Staffordshire team - great content can make a difference.
And that's exactly what we've loved about working with Staffordshire Cricket.
Their ambition is to make cricket the sport of choice across the county, while creating opportunities for more people to enjoy the game.
We've been incredibly proud to play our part in helping bring that ambition to life on screen.

Here's to the next innings
A huge thank you to everyone at Staffordshire Cricket for another brilliant summer and, in particular, to the incredible team we've had the pleasure of working alongside.
The players, coaches, staff, volunteers, teachers, families and supporters all make the Staffordshire cricket community what it is.

We've loved telling your stories.

And with plenty more cricket still to come, we're already looking forward to the next innings.
Here's to cricket. Here's to Staffordshire. And here's to telling even more of the stories that make this sport so brilliant.
